Summary: Aislebook is designed for private wedding planning. Information you enter is used to run the app, is not used for advertising tracking, and is not sold.

Information You Provide

Aislebook may store the information you choose to enter while planning a wedding. This can include:

  • Wedding details, including names, dates, venues, and locations.
  • Guest details, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, RSVPs, plus-ones, meal choices, dietary notes, addresses, and seating assignments.
  • Vendor details, including contact information, status, quotes, deposits, balances, notes, and meetings.
  • Budget, task, timeline, checklist, gift, and seating information.
  • Photos or scanned content only where you choose to use a camera-based feature, such as RSVP QR scanning.

How Information Is Used

The information you provide is used to operate the app. Aislebook uses it to show your planning dashboard, calculate budget and RSVP status, prepare operational lists, support widgets and notifications, and provide planning views such as vendor deadlines, seating, and day-of coordination.

Aislebook does not use your wedding information for advertising. It does not sell your personal data.

Storage and Apple Services

Wedding planning data is stored locally on your device using Apple's app storage frameworks. The device-level encryption and protections of iOS and iPadOS apply to that data. There is no custom Aislebook account system, and no separate DuttLabs server stores your wedding planning database.

Aislebook uses Apple services where they are needed for app functionality:

  • StoreKit: Apple processes the subscriptions and the lifetime in-app purchase. Aislebook does not receive or store your payment card details.
  • WeatherKit: Apple may receive the wedding location and date needed to return relevant weather information.
  • Notifications and widgets: Apple system services display reminders, countdowns, task status, and planning summaries on your device.
  • Sharing and export: When you choose to share or export planning details, Apple's system share and export features handle that handoff.
  • Contacts: If you grant permission, contact details can be imported to help build the guest list. This permission is optional.

Data Types Declared to Apple

The app privacy manifest declares names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, contacts, and other user content for app functionality. These categories reflect the wedding planning details users may enter. They are not used for tracking.

Required Reason APIs

Aislebook declares UserDefaults access with Apple's approved reason code for app functionality. This is used for settings and app state, not for tracking users across apps or websites.

Your Choices

  • You can decline Contacts or Camera permission. Some import or QR scanning features will be unavailable if permission is declined.
  • You can edit or delete wedding planning records in the app.
  • You can remove local app data by deleting the app from your device.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings.

Data Security

Aislebook relies on the security model of iOS and iPadOS, including app sandboxing and device encryption. Network calls to Apple services use encrypted transport. No separate DuttLabs server is used to store your wedding planning database.

Children's Privacy

Aislebook is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
